HOW TO BOOK A BLOOD TEST AT OUR READING CLINIC

The process is simple:

1. Choose a blood test

Pick a test to suit you. Either for specific biomarkers, for example, Calcium or Estrogen, or order a comprehensive panel testing multiple biomarkers (some panels have over 50 biomarkers!). You can also pick tests by symptoms or just check a particular body function, such as liver or kidney function.

2. Choose a clinic appointment time

Schedule your visit at our Reading clinic, where a qualified phlebotomist will take your blood sample from a vein or from a capillary if you prefer. This option is ideal if you’d like professional assistance with your sample collection, if your selected tests are marked as venous only, or if you need your results quickly.

3. Receive your results

Your results will arrive via email, in a password-protected, secure PDF file and will usually be available the same day the sample reaches our lab, or the next day. You can also see your results in visual graph format by accessing your health dashboard.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our clinics in Reading and across the UK welcome anyone who prefers professional assistance with their blood sample, needs fast results, or requires tests designated as venous only. You can book an appointment at a time that suits you or simply walk in for same-day testing.

A qualified venipuncture nurse will take your blood sample with care - either from a vein or, if you prefer or have difficult veins, using a finger-prick method. This phlebotomy service is included in the price of all our tests, and no GP referral is required. Most results are ready the same day or the next, although some specialist tests may take a little longer. If your results are time-sensitive, please contact us for advice.

We offer over 300 biomarkers and a wide range of pre-designed test panels, including the Full Blood Count, Diabetes Panel, Cholesterol Panel, and our popular Essential All Systems Blood Test. You can explore our complete range of tests below.

For added convenience, we also provide a home sample collection kit if you’d prefer to take your test from home.

RECEIVING YOUR RESULTS

Your results will be sent to you via email as a secure, password-protected PDF - usually on the same day your sample reaches our laboratory. You can easily print your results and share them with your GP or healthcare provider for further consultation. In addition, you’ll receive complimentary access to our exclusive online Health Dashboard, where you can view and track your results conveniently in one place.
