WHAT IS A CLINIC CHARGE?

This appointment and clinic charge (£29.00) is for our professional nurse to take blood from your arm. It is applicable to both walk-ins and pre-booked appointments. This charge covers sample collection for all your tests on the day.

Blood tests are not included in this charge. You will need to add the blood tests you require to your shopping basket separately.

ABOUT OUR BLOOD TEST CLINIC IN THE CITY OF LONDON

One Day Tests offer a huge range of blood tests at our blood testing clinic in the heart of the city of London (Liverpool Street Station). This is a recently opened (October 2023) professional clinic. You have two options to access blood tests in the city of London: book an appointment or visit our walk-in facility. We take pride in our quick turnaround time, often providing same-day results for most tests.

Whether you have a family history of illness, a chronic medical condition, follow a specific diet or training plan, or simply want to monitor your health, we can accommodate your needs. Our goal is to make the process convenient and efficient for you.

HOW TO BOOK A BLOOD TEST AT OUR LONDON CITY CLINIC

The process is simple:

1. Choose a blood test

Pick a test for a single biomarker, for example, Calcium or Estrogen, or order a comprehensive panel (some panels have over 50 biomarkers!). You can also pick tests by symptoms or just check a particular body function, such as liver or kidney function.

2. Choose a clinic appointment time

Book an appointment at our London City Blood Tests clinic. If you prefer assistance in obtaining the blood sample or if your selected tests specifically require a venous sample, our phlebotomist will quickly and easily draw blood from your vein. This option is recommended if you require urgent results or if your chosen tests are specified as "venous only". However, if you have a preference for capillary sampling, we can accommodate that as well.

3. Receive your results

Once your sample reaches our lab, your sample will be processed promptly. In most cases, you can expect to receive your results via email on the same day or the following day. Your results will be delivered in a secure, password-protected PDF file to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

It's important to note that while most tests have a quick turnaround time, certain tests may require additional processing time.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our clinics are all open to anyone who prefers to get help with their blood sample, who needs results as soon as possible, or whose chosen tests are recommended as ‘venous only’.

Book an appointment at a time convenient to you or just walk in. You’ll get a same-day appointment to have your blood taken by a professional venipuncture nurse. We can take blood from your vein or by using a finger-prick technique if you prefer or if you have difficult veins, for example.

No GP referral is required.

You will usually have results back the same day, or next day, however some tests take longer, please check the turnaround time.

We offer over 300 biomarkers as well as ready-made panels for you to choose from, such as the Full Blood Count, panels for Diabetes or Cholesterol levels, and the always-popular "Essential All Systems Blood Test". See our full range of tests below.

We also offer a convenient home sample collection kit if you’d prefer.

RECEIVING YOUR RESULTS

Your results will arrive via email, in a password-protected, secure PDF file, and they will usually arrive the same day the sample reaches our lab, in a password-protected, secure PDF file via email.

You can then print this and take it to your GP, or requesting healthcare provider, for further consultation. 

You’ll also be granted free access to our exclusive online Health Dashboard tool.
