WHAT IS A CLINIC CHARGE?

This appointment and clinic charge (£35.00) is for our professional phlebotomist to take blood from your arm. It is applicable to both walk-ins and pre-booked appointments. This charge covers sample collection for all your tests on the day.

Blood tests are not included in this charge. You will need to add the blood tests you require to your shopping basket separately.

HOW TO BOOK A BLOOD TEST AT OUR ABERDEEN CLINIC

The process is simple:

1. Choose a blood test

Pick a test to suit you. Either for specific biomarkers, for example, Calcium or Estrogen, or order a comprehensive panel testing multiple biomarkers (some panels have over 50 biomarkers!). You can also pick tests by symptoms or just check a particular body function, such as liver or kidney function.

2. Choose a clinic appointment time

Book an appointment at our Aberdeen clinic and have your sample collected by a qualified phlebotomist. Depending on your preference and test requirements, samples can be taken via a standard venous blood draw or a finger-prick (capillary) method. This option is ideal if you’d like professional support, require tests that need a venous sample, or want the fastest possible turnaround for your results.


3. Receive your results

Your results will arrive via email, in a password-protected, secure PDF file and will usually be available the same day the sample reaches our lab, or the next day. You can also see your results in visual graph format by accessing your health dashboard.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our Aberdeen clinic, along with our locations nationwide, is open to anyone who prefers professional support with sample collection, needs fast results, or requires tests that must be taken via a venous blood draw. You can book an appointment at a time that suits you or simply walk in for convenient same-day testing.

Your sample will be collected by a qualified venepuncture nurse, either from a vein or, where appropriate and, if you prefer or have difficult veins, via a finger-prick (capillary) sample. Most results are available the same day or the following day, although some specialist tests may take a little longer. If your results are time-sensitive, please contact us and we’ll be happy to advise on the best option.

RECEIVING YOUR RESULTS

Your results will be sent to you via email as a secure, password-protected PDF - usually on the same day your sample reaches our laboratory. You can easily print your results and share them with your GP or healthcare provider for further consultation. In addition, you’ll receive complimentary access to our exclusive online Health Dashboard, where you can view and track your results conveniently in one place.
