To take advantage of our service you can schedule an appointment in advance or alternatively we do welcome walk-ins. Blood test results are returned to you in rapid time, often next-day for the majority of our blood tests.

BOOKING YOUR BIRMINGHAM CLINIC APPOINTMENT

The process is simple:

1. Choose a blood test

Select a blood test for a single biomarker or a comprehensive panel (some panels include over 50 biomarkers!). You can also choose blood tests based on symptoms or focus on a specific body function, like liver or kidney function.

2. Book your appointment

Book an appointment at our Birmingham clinic. Book a time and date that suits you. If you need assistance with blood sample collection or if your selected blood tests require a venous sample, our phlebotomist will quickly and easily draw blood from your vein. This option is ideal if you need urgent results or if your chosen tests are specified as "venous only." However, if you prefer capillary sampling, we can accommodate that.

3. Receive your results

Once your sample reaches our lab, it will be processed promptly. In most cases, you can expect to receive your results via email the following day. Your results will be delivered in a secure, password-protected PDF file to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Please note that while most blood tests have a quick turnaround time, certain tests may require additional processing time.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR BIRMINGHAM CLINIC VISIT

We offer same-day appointments with a professional venipuncture nurse who can collect your blood using either traditional venipuncture or a finger-prick technique, ideal for those with difficult veins. No GP referral is needed.

Typically, you will receive your results the same day or the next, although some blood tests may take longer. Please check in advance if your results are time-sensitive.
