WHAT IS A CLINIC CHARGE?

This appointment and clinic charge (£29.00) is for our professional phlebotomist to take blood from your arm. It is applicable to both walk-ins and pre-booked appointments. This charge covers sample collection for all your tests on the day.

Blood tests are not included in this charge. You will need to add the blood tests you require to your shopping basket separately.

HOW TO BOOK A BLOOD TEST AT OUR CHELMSFORD CLINIC

The process is simple:

1. Choose a blood test

Select a blood test for a single biomarker or opt for a comprehensive panel (some panels include over 50 biomarkers!). You can also choose blood tests based on symptoms or focus on a specific body function, like liver or kidney function, like liver or kidney function.

2. Schedule your appointment

Book an appointment at our Chelmsford clinic. If you need assistance with blood sample collection or if your selected blood tests require a venous sample, our phlebotomist will quickly and easily draw blood from your vein. This option is ideal if you need urgent results or if your chosen blood tests are specified as "venous only." However, if you prefer capillary sampling, we can accommodate that as well.

3. Receive your results

Once your sample reaches our lab, it will be processed promptly. In most cases, you can expect to receive your results via email the following day. Your results will be delivered in a secure, password-protected PDF file to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Please note that while most blood tests have a quick turnaround time, certain tests may require additional processing time.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT OUR CHELMSFORD CLINIC

You can book an appointment at your convenience or simply walk in. We offer same-day appointments with a professional venipuncture nurse who can collect your blood using the traditional venipuncture method or a finger-prick technique, ideal for those with difficult veins. No GP referral is necessary for a One Day Tests appointment.

Typically, you will receive your results on the same day or the next day, though some blood tests may require additional time. Please check in advance if your test results are time-sensitive.
