WHAT IS A CLINIC CHARGE?

This appointment and clinic charge (£29.00) is for our professional phlebotomist to take blood from your arm. It is applicable to both walk-ins and pre-booked appointments. This charge covers sample collection for all your tests on the day.

Blood tests are not included in this charge. You will need to add the blood tests you require to your shopping basket separately.

HOW TO BOOK A BLOOD TEST AT OUR NORTHAMPTON CLINIC

The process is simple:

1. Choose a blood test

Pick a test to suit you. Either for specific biomarkers, for example, Calcium or Estrogen, or order a comprehensive panel testing multiple biomarkers (some panels have over 50 biomarkers!). You can also pick tests by symptoms or just check a particular body function, such as liver or kidney function.

2. Choose a clinic appointment time

Book an appointment at our Northampton clinic and a qualified phlebotomist will collect your sample - either via a venous draw or a finger-prick (capillary) option if you prefer. This is a great choice if you want expert support with sample collection, if your chosen tests require a venous sample, or if you need fast results.

3. Receive your results

Your results will arrive via email, in a password-protected, secure PDF file and will usually be available the same day the sample reaches our lab, or the next day. You can also see your results in visual graph format by accessing your health dashboard.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our Northampton clinic, along with our locations across the UK, is open to anyone who would prefer professional support with sample collection, needs quick results, or requires tests that can only be taken via a venous blood draw. You can book an appointment at a time that suits you, or drop in for convenient same-day testing.

A qualified venepuncture nurse will collect your sample carefully - either from a vein or, if you’d prefer (or if you have difficult veins), via a finger-prick (capillary) sample where suitable. Most results are available the same day or the next day, though some specialist tests may take a little longer. If your results are time-sensitive, please get in touch and we’ll advise on the best option.

Your results will be sent to you via email as a secure, password-protected PDF - usually on the same day your sample reaches our laboratory. You can easily print your results and share them with your GP or healthcare provider for further consultation.
