Many people think you need an appointment before you can have a blood test. At our Goodge Street clinic, no appointment is necessary, although we do recommend one. Same-day testing is always available, no GP referral is needed, and many results are ready the same day. The clinic is a five minute walk from Goodge Street Underground station.
You're probably weighing up what it costs, how long it takes and whether you can fit it around work. This page covers:

Your health, on your terms. That is the idea behind the Goodge Street clinic. It is open to anyone who would like professional help with a blood draw, needs fast results, or has tests that call for a venous sample. You book a time that works for you, or you simply walk in.
Having said that, convenience only matters if the results hold up. Our range of tests matches what your GP would order, and the samples are processed in the same fully regulated diagnostic laboratories. Every biomarker explanation is prepared by our in-house UK GPs, each with years of clinical experience. If you want to talk it through first, call 0127 309 2844 and speak to a human.
For anyone who likes to check the credentials:
The Goodge Street clinic covers routine and specialised testing, with over 300 biomarkers to choose from. Pick a single marker, such as calcium or oestradiol, or order one of our comprehensive panels, some of which cover more than 50 biomarkers. If you would rather start from a symptom or a body function, such as liver or kidney function, you can do that too.
Pre-designed panels people choose most include the Full Blood Count, the Cholesterol Test and our popular Essential All Systems Blood Test. The most popular test in our whole range is the Ultimate Performance Test, with 59 biomarkers. The largest is the Ultimate Longevity Test at 74.
As you can imagine, how the sample is taken depends on the test. Our phlebotomists take blood from a vein or by finger-prick, depending on your preference, and some tests require a venous sample. Here is a selection of other tests you can have at Goodge Street, with biomarker counts and usual turnaround.

The process is simple, whether you book a slot or walk in.
Go to our Goodge Street clinic page, pick a date and time, and confirm with your phone number. An appointment is recommended, but if your day changes you can walk in Monday to Friday between 7.45 am and 4 pm.
The £35 appointment and clinic charge covers sample collection for all the tests you have on the day. Blood tests are not included in that charge, so add the ones you want to your basket separately. If you test regularly, a subscription gives you discounts on future tests, at a frequency of your choice, with the option to pause or restart.
If you need a custom panel, or you are not sure what you need, call us on 0127 309 2844 or email hello@onedaytests.com. We run our own laboratory and can build any panel you like.
