BLOOD TESTS AVAILABLE AT OUR COCKFOSTERS CLINIC

Our fully equipped Cockfosters clinic covers routine and specialist testing, with over 300 biomarkers to choose from. You can test a single marker, such as calcium or oestradiol, or order one of our comprehensive panels, some of which cover more than 50 biomarkers. You can also pick by symptom, or check a body function such as liver or kidney function.

Ready-made panels people often go for include the Full Blood Count, the Diabetes (HbA1c) Test, the Cholesterol Test and our popular Essential All Systems Blood Test. The most popular test in the whole range is the Ultimate Performance Test, with 59 biomarkers. The largest is the Ultimate Longevity Test at 74.

HOW IT WORKS

The process is simple, whether you book ahead or drop in.

  1. Choose a blood test - Pick a single biomarker, a comprehensive panel, or a test matched to a symptom or body function. The Quick Finder helps if you are unsure.
  2. Choose a time, or just turn up - Book your appointment online in minutes, or walk in. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2 pm. The £35 clinic charge applies to both and covers sample collection for all your tests on the day.
  3. Find the entrance - The clinic is at 26 Heddon Court Parade, Cockfosters, Barnet, EN4 0DB (view map). Some maps and phones send people to the wrong address, so here is the simple version: we are on the High Street where the shops are, on the corner with Leys Gardens, not inside Heddon Court Estate. Come in through the Surgicare Aesthetics entrance and you will find us inside. A qualified venepuncture nurse takes your sample from a vein, or by finger-prick where suitable if you prefer it or have difficult veins. Children aged 5 to 16 can be tested with a GP private referral letter (details here).
  4. Receive your results - Your results arrive by email as a secure, password-protected PDF, usually the same day your sample reaches our lab or the next day. Some specialist tests take a little longer, so get in touch first if your results are time-sensitive. You also get complimentary access to the Health Dashboard, where you can see your results as graphs, check them against reference ranges and track them over time.

BOOKING YOUR BLOOD TEST IN COCKFOSTERS

Go to our Cockfosters clinic page, pick a date and time, and enter your phone number to confirm. It takes minutes. If you would rather not plan ahead, drop in Monday to Friday between 8 am and 2 pm.

The £35 appointment and clinic charge covers sample collection for all the tests you have on the day. Blood tests are not included in that charge, so add the ones you want to your basket separately. If you test regularly, a subscription gives you discounts on future tests, at a frequency of your choice, and you can pause or restart whenever you like.

Can I walk in at Cockfosters without booking?

Yes. The Cockfosters clinic takes walk-ins as well as booked appointments, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 2 pm. The £35 clinic charge is the same either way. If another part of London is handier, our other London clinics are open to walk-ins too.

Can I book my Cockfosters appointment online?

Yes. Choose your tests on our website, then pick a date and time on the Cockfosters clinic page and confirm with your phone number. Booking takes minutes. No GP referral is needed, with one exception: children aged 5 to 16 need a GP private referral letter.

How do I find the clinic entrance?

We are at 26 Heddon Court Parade, on the High Street where the shops are, on the corner with Leys Gardens. The clinic is inside Surgicare Aesthetics, so use the Surgicare entrance. Some maps and phones point to Heddon Court Estate instead, which is the wrong spot. The photos on the clinic page show the entrance.

How quickly can I get tested and get my results?

You can book a same-day appointment or drop in. Most results arrive by email the same day your sample reaches our lab, or the next day, as a secure, password-protected PDF. Some specialist tests take a little longer, so get in touch if your results are time-sensitive. Our clinics across the UK work the same way, so if you are nearer Birmingham, for example, you can book there instead.
