Many people assume every blood test clinic runs five days a week. Our Bradford clinic at Lister Hills Science Park is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 8 am to 2 pm, so it is worth knowing the days before you set off. On those days you can book an appointment in advance or simply drop in to the walk-in service, no GP referral is needed, and results for most blood tests are available as soon as the next day.
You're probably wondering what it costs, how to find the clinic and how the visit works. This page covers:

Come and visit us at the Bradford clinic for quick turnaround test results.
Whether you have a family history of illness, live with a long-term health condition, follow a particular diet or training plan, or just want to stay on top of your health, we are here to help. Our goal is to make your blood test in Bradford as quick, easy and comfortable as possible. Behind that sits rapid and reliable testing. We follow Care Quality Commission regulations and BSI/ISO 15189 standards closely, we continuously monitor our testing equipment and our results, and we take part in the Bio-Rad EQA scheme, which gives our results an extra layer of independent validation.
Having said that, standards are only part of the picture. You get the same tests your GP orders, without a referral. Custom panels are a request we get often, and because we have our own laboratory we can put together any combination of tests you need. If you would like a hand choosing, give us a call to speak with a member of our friendly team via our contact page, and they will guide you through every step.
For anyone who likes to see the credentials, here they are.
Our Bradford clinic offers a wide range of blood tests, with over 300 biomarkers and a wide selection of panels to choose from. You can choose a test for a single biomarker, or go for a comprehensive panel, some covering more than 50 biomarkers. You can also pick tests based on your symptoms, or focus on a specific area of health such as liver or kidney function.
Popular choices include the Full Blood Count, the Cortisol Test and the comprehensive Ultimate Performance Blood Test, which is the most popular test in our range and covers 59 biomarkers. The largest is the Ultimate Longevity Test at 74. If you are not sure where to start, the Quick Finder helps you find the right test for you.
As you can imagine, the sample type depends on the test. If you would like help with your blood sample, or your chosen tests need a venous sample, our phlebotomist takes blood from your vein quickly and with minimal fuss, which is the best option if you need urgent results or your tests are marked "venous only". If you would prefer a capillary (finger-prick) sample instead, we are happy to arrange that too. Here is a selection of other tests available at Bradford, with biomarker counts and usual turnaround.
ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE TESTThis is the most popular test in our range. An ultimate blood screen that reports on a huge panel of 59 different biomarkers, for a detailed overview of your body. The process is simple. Here is how a visit to Bradford goes.
Open our Bradford clinic page, pick a date and time, and you are booked. Adding a mobile number is optional, and we only use it if your appointment changes, never for marketing. If you would rather not plan ahead, drop in on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 8 am and 2 pm.
The £35 appointment and clinic charge covers sample collection for all the tests you have on the day. Blood tests are not included in that charge, so add the ones you want to your basket separately. If you plan to test regularly, a subscription gives you discounted rates on every future test, with no minimum number of tests. You decide how often you test and which tests you take, with a home kit or at a clinic, and your Health Dashboard updates automatically.
If you need a custom panel, or you have a question before booking, call us via our contact page or email [email protected]. With our own laboratory we can put together any combination of tests you need.

Yes. You do not need a GP referral to book with One Day Tests, and the tests are the same ones your GP orders. Choose the tests you want on our website, then book an appointment or walk in on a clinic day, and a professional nurse takes your sample.
