WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE ONE DAY TESTS FOR BLOOD TESTS IN GLASGOW

We are proud to offer the Glasgow community a comprehensive range of blood tests, with rapid and reliable testing that runs through every step of the process, from sample collection to result delivery. We strictly adhere to Care Quality Commission regulations and BSI/ISO 15189 standards, we continuously monitor our testing equipment and procedures, and our participation in the nationwide BioRad EQA scheme adds an extra layer of validation to your results.

Having said that, standards are only part of the picture. You get the same tests your GP orders, without a referral, and a convenient, efficient service whether you are managing an existing condition, curious about your overall health, or looking to optimise your diet or training plan. With our own laboratory we can create any panel you require. If you want to talk it through, call 0127 309 2844 and speak directly to one of the team.

For anyone who likes to see the credentials, here they are.

  • Regulated - Our parent company, Sussex Pathology Limited, is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (certificate number 1-14470761199).
  • Verified - Our state-of-the-art laboratory is CQC regulated and EQA verified, and our home test kit is CE/MHRA marked.
  • Trusted - We are trusted to do more than 100,000 tests and consultations every month.

BLOOD TESTS AVAILABLE AT OUR GLASGOW CLINIC

Our Glasgow clinic offers a comprehensive range of blood tests. You can select a single test for one biomarker, or opt for a comprehensive panel, some of which include over 60 biomarkers. You can also choose tests based on specific symptoms, or focus on a particular body function such as liver or kidney health.

The most popular test in our range is the Ultimate Performance Test, a blood screen covering 59 biomarkers including micronutrients and vitamins, thyroid, hormones, organ function and cholesterol. The largest is the Ultimate Longevity Test at 74. For a basic MOT, the Essential All Systems Blood Test covers a full blood count, kidney and liver function, electrolytes and CRP.

As you can imagine, the sample type depends on the test. If you need help with sample collection, or your tests require a venous sample, our phlebotomist quickly and easily draws blood from your vein, which is the best option for urgent results or tests labelled "venous only". If you prefer capillary sampling, we are happy to accommodate that. Here is a selection of other tests available at Glasgow, with biomarker counts and usual turnaround.
