Many people think you need a doctor to make sense of blood results over time. At our Chelmsford clinic, your results go into a Health Dashboard that tracks over 300 biomarkers, shows you trends and works from any smart device. You can book an appointment or walk in, no GP referral is needed, and most results are back the next day.
You're probably wondering what it costs, how to find the clinic and whether you can simply turn up. This page covers:
No scare tactics here, just clear answers. If you already know which test you need, book your Chelmsford appointment now.
Come and visit us at the Chelmsford clinic for quick turnaround test results.
You may want to know what sits behind the results before you trust them. We adhere strictly to Care Quality Commission regulations and BSI/ISO 15189 standards, and we monitor our testing equipment and outcomes consistently. On top of that, we take part in the nationwide BioRad EQA scheme, which adds an extra layer of validation to every result.
Having said that, standards are only part of it. You get the same tests your GP would order, without a referral, and we aim to make your visit as comfortable and efficient as possible. If you are not sure which test to pick, send us a message and a friendly representative will guide you through the process. We run our own laboratory, so if a standard test does not cover what you need, we can create any panel you like.
For anyone who likes to see the credentials, here they are.
The Chelmsford clinic offers a wide range of blood tests, with over 300 biomarkers to choose from. You can select a single biomarker or a comprehensive panel, some of which include more than 50 biomarkers. You can also choose by symptom, or focus on a specific body function, such as liver or kidney function. The Quick Finder helps if you are undecided.
Examples include the Full Blood Count, the Cortisol Test and our comprehensive Ultimate Performance Blood Test, which is the most popular test in our range and reports on 59 biomarkers. The largest is the Ultimate Longevity Test at 74.
As you can imagine, some tests need a venous sample. If your tests are specified as "venous only", or you would like help getting the sample, our phlebotomist draws blood from your vein. That is the recommended route for urgent results too. If you prefer capillary sampling, we can accommodate that. Here is a selection of other tests available at Chelmsford, with biomarker counts and usual turnaround.
ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE TESTThis is the most popular test in our range. An ultimate blood screen that reports on a huge panel of 59 different biomarkers, for a detailed overview of your body. The process is simple. Here is how a visit to Chelmsford goes.
Open our Chelmsford clinic page, pick a date and time, and you are booked. Adding a mobile number is optional, and we only use it if your appointment changes, never for marketing. If you would rather not plan ahead, walk in Monday to Friday between 7.45 am and 3.30 pm.
The £35 appointment and clinic charge covers sample collection for all the tests you have on the day. Blood tests are not included in that charge, so add the ones you want to your basket separately. If you test regularly, a subscription gives you reduced rates on all future tests, with no minimum number of tests, your choice of frequency and type, and automatic updates to your Health Dashboard.
If you need a custom panel, or you have a question before booking, send us a message or email hello@onedaytests.com. We run our own laboratory and can create any panel you need.
