In addition to those with implants, individuals exposed to cobalt or chromium in industrial or manufacturing settings may experience respiratory issues, skin rashes, or unexplained systemic symptoms. If these signs appear and there is a history of possible metal exposure or implant wear, a blood test can help identify whether cobalt or chromium toxicity is a contributing factor.

What happens if my cobalt or chromium levels are high?
