LUTEINIZING HORMONE (LH) BLOOD TEST
The Luteinising Hormone (LH) blood test is used to measure the levels of LH, a hormone produced by the pituitary gland that plays a key role in the regulation of the reproductive system.
In women, LH helps control the menstrual cycle and triggers ovulation, the release of an egg from the ovary.
In men, it stimulates the production of testosterone in the testes.
